Sugaree
Just the one for me. I hold all others up to this standard. Others are great, but this one gets me everytime!
11
Cassidy
Clean, beautiful version. Jerry has some slick licks and Keith does some great work at the end
33
Not Fade Away
Big ol' 20 min version from '77. This one peaks nicely
10
Its All Over Now
Bobby absolutely owns this version. So powerful this version is!!
24
Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo
Absolutely rockin' version. Mellow vocals to screaming peaks. Killer show opener!!
12
New Minglewood Blues
Seems like the boys are trying to burn the Winterland down.
15
Pretty Peggy O
Very pretty peggy-o.
8
Estimated Prophet
absolute favorite version. Phil is grooving the whole time and jerry nails the lead work on the outro
10
St. Stephen
best of '77. (also the shortest.) near-perfect execution, perfectly lazy groove, great vocals. what more do you need?
30
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
First time played together, and the boys nailed it!
25
Around and Around
Can't believe this isn't here! All around one alltime best underrated show. Too many highlights, but around+around stands out as the absolute gem.
7
Uncle John's Band
Beautiful piano; lovely vocals; the dynamics are great. And a lovely set-closer after that scorching "Around and Around".
9
Brown Eyed Women
How has this not been submitted yet? Listen to Keith go at 4:20. Jerry’s tone in the first solo while the others are keeping it warm.
