This was a decent show ,one of the few indoor shows on the summer tour.To me the first set is really good, especially Althea.Jerry takes the solo and drives it 'till it erupts !I am not a huge fan of post Brent shows ,but they seem real focused in the spring and summer '91.Bruce really added a lot of color and texture ,and exitement that could be seen in Jerry.I really didn't care much for the accordian though. The '90-'91 era sounds like they actually rehearsed !

Funny how me and my traveling cohorts really hated this show compared to the night before. In retrospect, apparently the acid WAS better the night before, but this show does in fact rock. Of course, after the drum circle ONTOP a moving policecar following the previous show, this one had some shoes to fill...
ScarletFire you are old! (Lol... im 33)! I cry for Dancewithme and all of the others who will just never get to know.

Ahhhh - Summer 91....
What a summer - Deer Ck, Buckeye, Charlotte, Washington,,,a week or so later, refuel and do it again - Chicago - lucky I'm still alive. I'll never forget any of it....especially not the drive after the 2nd night in Charlotte to DC by daybreak....those construction barrels and police barricades sure were something to remember, far cry from where I am now....

Ode to Althea
Missed this show because of a car wreck the previous night. The car's name was Althea and she was totalled. Jerry eulogized her in style with that rendition. This show cooks start to finish, a fitting contrast to the previous night's mellowness. Sound is a bit fuzzy in my opinion.
Regarding the review below by "dancewithme"...Your post ("I wasn't alive")made me feel REALLY old (I'm 33), until I realized that if you were 19 in 2004, you definitely WERE TOO alive in '91!
