Cliff Stoll brought me here
Was reading (for the 10th time) the book "Cuckoo's Egg" by a Berkeley Astronomer/Computer guy named Cliff Stoll. In there, he talks about abandoning his search for a computer hacker for an afternoon because, as he says "no hacker is worth missing a Grateful Dead concert for." Turns out, it's this show here.
From what I've heard so far, not a bad show at all. I doubt we'll get to hear the wicked backbeat Cliff talks about hearing while sitting on the field overlooking the concert, but I can well imagine it.

This show should have more heat. Not bad but not as powerful as it could be. Still remember my ole mann calling me from work telling me len Bias Overdosed.

Good for '86
And I am sure the Greek was humming that night but this show is lacking the oomph it should have especially with the setting and the song list. Nice shout out to Len Bias - What a waste..

I love this show
Good, solid '86 show. The Saint (even if a bit sloppy) and the He's Gone>Smokestack are standouts.
Great sound quality.

Oh wow, man!
I was there and standing 50 feet in front of Jerry. The sound was dialed in, crisp and clean, as were the doses ;)
This show was so good I didn't want to leave.

This one's for Len Bias
This show shows the dead in typical '86 form...sloppy but inspiring. Great little first set with a sorrowful FOTD and a lilting loping C.C. Rider. Second set is fun but unnoteworthy. This is a master board and the reason why it should be added to anyone's collection. They loved the He's Gone>Stack combo's in '86.....
