excellent music from DP 34
the sequence of music from this show included on the Dick's Picks on disc 2 (Might as Well -> Around and Around) is at least as good if not better than the actual music from the 11/5 show.
the Estimated>Stephen>Truckin' is just epic stuff, some original, very energetic jams. Estimated especially being one of the best i have ever heard - it blows away the version from 11/5.

An Overlooked Show.
Maybe not in the top ten shows of the year (and it was one hell of a year),but a very presentable couple of hours of music.Yes,the "Scarlet > Fire" is a lot of fun,but for me the highlight is the "Estimated > St Stephen > Truckin",which is now preserved on a Dicks Picks.
Well worth a listen, and what have you got to lose ?

Great show and great sound here!
This is a great show all around- obviously- i fyou happen to stumble accross this and are not familiar with this show, then take a listen and enjoy this massively-dare I say Cornel-esque scarlet>fire. There are some imperfections, which is why it perhaps did not make the dicks picks cut of this show.
I agree with the previous reviewer, that this source is less sbd driven and is more aud mixed in sound than the other source here. I prefer this show over the other becuase it sounds cleaner- the other is a little bassy and has potential for very very minor distortion at high volume. The show is 5 stars- the quality is 3.5 stars. I give it 4 over all.
Check out the long transition jam of scarlet>fire. This is truly cornel-esque! The drums also are nicely mixed- JG is actually a little quiet but the mix is good enough for 4 stars overall. I am so happy to see this show listed here as the Scarlet>Fire was left off the DP release- Thanks for the show!

So far so good...
This shows just came in. A matrix of an SBD and an AUD source. Now...there are two uploads for this date and they do sound different. This one I believe has more AUD mixed into it, while the other has a more prominent SBD source.
I just listened to Lazy > Sup and it was good! Peppy, good mixing of all the instruments. I think something happened to Keith's piano during the second half of the year because it doesn't sound the same as the first half of the year. Anyway...Supplication is a very good version. That song has a tendency for everyone to get out-of-sync, but during this performance it builds to a nice crescendo and carries on through the end of the song.
So far 4/5 sound, 4/5 show.
