I am usually just a casual listener when it comes to this tune because I don't notice too many changes from one night to the next but I have been going through Europe 72' and this one caught my attention. It's at the top of my list.

Not sure why they only did this once during the tour but it does make this one more unique to me. As mentioned in the comments it is interesting to go from the heaviness of BP to the little fun they have between the songs. I think it's an example of how some of the Dead's songwriting has this feeling of "hey what can you do?" Nothing too serious.

Going through all of Europe 72' and I have listened to countless Lovin's plus I still have a small list from other years to check out and wouldn't you know it...this one came out of nowhere and became my personal favorite. They get into a really nice groove and keeping going with it and Pig doesn't do too much rapping which is fine with me. Pretty underrated show before they close out in London. This should be higher up the list. Especially out of the Europe dates.

Orange Tango- thank you for the show recommendations. I know all of these songs can be ranked overall but sometimes its the certain feel of a song I am looking for and luckily for us these guys provide us many different avenues. I will literally make a list of songs that I am currently into and then come here to find shows to check out. Sometimes by year sometimes by highest or lowest ranking and sometimes for specific comments about elements within the songs. Again much appreciated.

Currently going through all of Europe '72 and I am finding that this may be an underrated show. A lot of personal favorite versions on this one. This version of Jack just sounds really fresh to me. And as mentioned some of Jerry's guitar phrasing is just unique and you can really feel they are all into it.
