Coming back to the site after 5 years to submit this gem of a bucket. HOT!

New Minglewood Blues
July 12, 1989
RFK Stadium

Brent scats and Jerry's solos are absolutely blazing...real nice sleeper here!

Bird Song
Dec. 6, 1980
Mill Valley Recreation Center

This acoustic version is very relaxed due to the intimate setting. Not too jammed out but something about it is very soothing

Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad
July 17, 1976
Orpheum Theatre

This set is an emotional roller coaster, and this Goin' Down the Road is a sweet way to continue it. Keith shines, as he does all show.

Dark Star
Dec. 26, 1969
McFarlin Auditorium, SMU

A little sloppy, but has a really excellent Tighten Up jam.

Morning Dew
Aug. 6, 1971
Hollywood Palladium

the version is so tender, even though phil is as punchy as can be in the Miller board. it's like getting hugged by a bear.
Deep Elem Blues
Aug. 27, 1983
Seattle Center Coliseum

'83 was THE year for Deep Elem (electric version). Jerry might be a little sloshed on the first solo but still pumps out tasty licks. Brent joins the fun next time. Slightly less tight than the '83 Santa Cruz version, which still takes the crown for me.
Deep Elem Blues
April 5, 1982
The Spectrum

Smooth and nice to have on Road Trips, very well executed, but lacks the luster of the '83 Santa Cruz version.
Deep Elem Blues
March 9, 1981
Madison Square Garden

Jerry upped the gain on this bad boy. Crunchy and and rollicking, this one does the job. Great Seamons matrix too. Maybe not quite as hot as '83 Santa Cruz, which has extra bop.
Deep Elem Blues
Sept. 24, 1983
Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds

This totally rocks actually. Was really shocked. Jerry sounds great on vocals and on the geetar.
