Outrageous version. Takes a second to get the mix dialed in, but man they blow the roof off. This has to be one of the best Wall of Sound shows.

Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo
Oct. 19, 1973
Oklahoma City Fairgrounds Arena

This is the best Half-step that I've ever heard. The tone on Bob/Jerry's guitars is stunning, the solos between choruses are the tightest/most energetic I've heard, and Keith fills the spaces flawlessly as he always did during this period. Builds up to a massive peak before the Rio Grande section, then comes to a close without excessive vamping at the end. A perfect rendition of this fine tune.
Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo
Sept. 3, 1977
Raceway Park

I understand why its rated highly, but it sacrifices tightness for energy, which I'm not a fan of at all. A tight, cohesive sound propels the energy; this is forcing it. Check 10/19/73 for the all time best half-step.
Dark Star
Oct. 19, 1973
Oklahoma City Fairgrounds Arena

I think this Dark star is the best of 73, better than the 11/11 version. This is a top 5 all time show right here.
Brokedown Palace
Sept. 27, 1972
Stanley Theatre

This is absolutely the best version of Brokedown Palace. This show is a contender for best of 72 (top 3 along with 8/27 and 9/21) which makes it one of the best Dead shows ever. This is a masterpiece in the 1st set.
Row Jimmy
Oct. 19, 1973
Oklahoma City Fairgrounds Arena

Hands down best Row Jimmy. Jerry's tone is perfection on this show. I agree with above comment, this song (along with everything else) is way better with the single kit.
