He's Gone
July 4, 1984
Five Seasons Center

Solid and energetic. Wraps up a lively pre-drums part of 2nd set. Interesting jam at the end. Phil sounds like he wants to go Other One, never does.

Help On The Way > Slipknot > Franklin's Tower
July 4, 1984
Five Seasons Center

Fast. Fast. Fast. Cokey version seems like it's playing in fast forward. '84 is so unique and magical/dreamy sometimes.

I Need A Miracle
July 4, 1986
Rich Stadium

Not a big fan of this song usually, but this one's hot. On the 4th of july, short, sweet, everybody's into it. Comin' out of The Wheel and into UJB.

Playin' In The Band

Nassau Coliseum

Rockin'. Dig the UJB that follows.

Uncle John's Band
May 15, 1980
Nassau Coliseum

Nice one, rising out of a cool Playin' and getting it's own groove on. Featured on Go to Nassau.

Little Red Rooster
Dec. 9, 1981
Activity Center - University of Colorado

Not a tune that usually elicits a vote from me, but this is good stuff. After one and a half listens (first one feeling a little disappointed) I think this show is starting to grow on me too.
Not Fade Away
Sept. 3, 1977
Raceway Park

Majestic jamming. Easily the highlight of the show for me.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
March 22, 1990
Copps Coliseum

Finally got around to listening to this one. Really rockin' and high energy for sure; lots of fun and deserves to be celebrated, but to me there are a bunch of '78 and '83 versions that top it, along with that epic '79 one that is a hidden track on DP 13.
Don't Ease Me In
March 22, 1990
Copps Coliseum

once again, Brent on organ...nice closer to energetic first set with a great flow
Beat it on Down The Line
March 22, 1990
Copps Coliseum

Dig the organ comping on this one...and the nice, swift pace, as mentioned above
