Spectacularly drunken entrance to this lean mean blue hot 93 Truckin with plenty of chonky chaw! Five alarm version, stellar concert.

Latter day gem that might be a surrogate memory of peter gabriel solsbury hill. Phil sings and jerry comes alive. sophisticated, breezy, and killing.

Tremendously beautiful, and close to the version on "ace", from chill kreutzmann's innovative cymbal work to the chorus harmonies.

it could be my illusions but this slaps hard and has a carefree chill ease blown in from the bay. Has that slinky erotic flavor of all the most slamming versions.

.... that intro is mystical, theres romantic stuff, full on freak stuff, concert hall and more blues and funk, massive Phil punch-dosing before a first-rate eyesie in its own right, hard hitting and its a reservoir of twinkle

Ds67 great recommend. the wall of sound always goes to the next level. Really jazzy and slinky long before you get to the notable space section... Godchaux's baldwin grand with pickups sounds wondrous doesnt it. They get seas of tone on this one.... sound painting with the promise of the chicago electric blues movement for an open free resplendent dawnrise look at that feeling, those types of licks and articulations to get the fuckin blues into jazz once and for all
