Spectacularly drunken entrance to this lean mean blue hot 93 Truckin with plenty of chonky chaw! Five alarm version, stellar concert.

Latter day gem that might be a surrogate memory of peter gabriel solsbury hill. Phil sings and jerry comes alive. sophisticated, breezy, and killing.

Heat wave stuff his countless tremendous vocal performances from this era and all before it are what make Jerry one of my fav singers. he could sell anything. music never stopped. one of those keith years tunes that defies the "the dead never played the same thing twice!!!" line very blatantly, every TJ solo has identical chords and length (like loser) but how many of those solos have blown your mind, too many to count!!!!! so many moods and configurations of jerry's rhythms and voice leading

That kind of goes in general i really just roll my eyes every time i see somebody trying to say which version is "The Best" and its ALWAYS on the same handful of very famous and oft-written about shows, your Venetas and Englishtowns. Know your history, listen to and fall in love with these shows, and then start exploring and finding the 99.99% of other terrific dead music out there.

maybe for the chill, countryfied groovy interpretation of the early years thats true... I think the tune like most of their catalog went pretty far in later years. Think physicality, intensity, drive.
