Billy's doing some interesting stuff on the drums here! And excellent solo from Jer! Vocals too!

74 versions really captured the western tone well. Short and sweet.

Jerry calls for Bertha then proceed to royally flub the lyrics LOL. Solid bouncy version though.

Phil and Brent really escalate the dance party factor of this tune in later years. Great performance this night. Just sheer fun. Comes to awk end.

Terrapin Station
March 24, 1990
Knickerbocker Arena

I really have yet to find one that feels as true to the grand, inspired feel of Terrapin Station as this performance. Terrapin Station, in my mind, doesn’t lend itself to “perfection” or being “clean,” “tight” as the Swing Auditorium ‘77 performance or Winterland ‘78. This one feels right because it’s free and feels like they’re really in pursuit of something big.

Oh fuck yes. Spacey, thundering ‘78 realness. This is great.

Still a top one for me. There is a brief moment in Jerry's solo where I get this feeling like the I get slightly lifted off the ground and dropped back down. Hard to describe, but I think about it a whole lot.

Pretty sloppy vocally and instrumentally.

Great Dew.
