Sounds great. Another solid early 80s Althea. Jerry doesn’t reach much here, but that sort of lets the beauty of the song speak for itself.

I never particularly love in the early Brent era, when Jerry does these quick flutters. It always seems like he’s really saying something with the guitar when he’s playing. That’s why his style is so different. It always missed the mark with me when he did that jumbled flutter picking, though. It just kind of appears in the early Brent era and then happens again and again in many songs. Maybe the cocaine? Can’t put my finger on it really.
