Great fun extended solo from Garcia. Phil sounds great in the mix.

Killer version. Then some of Brent's communist friends sabotage Bob Weir soon afterward..

Solid! God Brent had such an awesome voice. Jerry’s got a good lead here. The whole band is working with each other perfectly for this tune.

Jumps right out of Around & Around. Nice little dance party to a fine show in Alaska.

Instead of taking you on the usual, mindboggling journey upon wings of a young dove taking her first solo flight, this one places you on the seat of a mighty stallion, riding alongside a roaring freight train to reach the beachside town of a familiar, yet new lover, Eyes of the World, where you go on to have a night that will change both of your lives and bring you together for as long as you shall live.

Don’t get me wrong – I LOVE Houston. But this is one is just that much sharper to put it over the line for me. Jerry just won’t fucking quit. And I do think ‘72 is the definitive year for this tune. Great stuff. I can’t believe I didn’t appreciate this song earlier as much as I do now.
