Only a few months old but an early passionate outro to this one.

Had to check myself a few times when I didn't see this one under the date. Listen and vote!

I really didn’t feel one way or another about this tune in the line up but if this was the first time I heard them perform it then it would grab my attention. Donna and Jerry sound great. Feels like they could have toured separately doing country ballads. What a show.

Tennessee Jed was one of the first songs that got me wanting to explore the Dead even more. It is ironic however that I really don’t get too excited from one Tennessee Jed to the next as I feel like for the most part it always slows the set down and nothing really ever changes with Jerry’s licks, but in this one the guitar stands out and he’s just doing a bunch of extra things he normally doesn’t. Had to upvote it.

I think there is a difference between how the music that was performed is "HEARD" (SBD/AUD/MTX) versus how we "LISTEN" to the music performed. If that were the case this would be a top 10 Jack Straw easy. All you have to do is "listen" to how fast and focused Jerry is playing on this and honestly Deal and Loser as well. Doesn't matter the sound quality. What was performed was almost flawless.

Are you kidding me? The second solo? Especially not even being a month old? I admit I almost overlooked this partial show but I am glad I listened through even just for this beauty alone.

Maybe the second best version to me right after 5/28/77. Wolf is growling on this. So gritty. Nice long solo.
