Bobby and Keith have a really brilliant exchange in the background here. Great version.

Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad

In a show overshadowed by its neighbors, this one stands out for coming together just brilliantly. Show needs more love.

Playin' In The Band

Blisteringly hot group solo from about 4:25 onward, including a Phil episode of pure beautiful berserkness.

Great funk just right in that sweet, rockin' spot. Pig's voice is on, Jerry's on fire, and Keith sounds great.

Not Fade Away

Felt Forum - Madison Square Garden

Tremendous energy and a beautiful jam with a long China Cat jam in the first bit. What the Dead are all about.

Big River

For a song that I'll admit to tuning out often, I'd have to rate this one much much higher than its present 2 votes. This kicks off with a high voltage, almost Cumberland feel and never lets up. Relentless drive, uptempo chaotic whitewater feel, Jerry ablaze with ideas. A great version.

Great story behind this one in "Long Strange Trip" told by Dennis Wiz Leonard about 15 minutes into the 3rd Act. One of the all time great moments capping Europe '72.

Keith's ascending power chords as Bobby ramps it up are just brilliant. I haven't heard it quite like that before. Just brilliant.

Some of Keith's best (and therefore the GD's best) piano soloing ever. Just fantastic.
