Seriously? No one? Love this version.

Stella Blue

Oakland Coliseum Arena

Stella's a favorite through the years - especially '74 - but this '92 version seems to pack everything Jerry'd ever been through into this one tune.

Perfect. Scary perfect.

Comes A Time
May 23, 1972
Strand Lyceum

It's a tear-jerker. Bobby's rhythm git is amazing with rarely used vibrato, Jerry gets into his 'ballad zone' and kills the vocal and solo. Everybody's just on. Not only my favorite version of this song, but one of my favorite tunes period.
Playin' In The Band
May 7, 1972
Bickershaw Festival

Exploratory, energetic, yet tight. Donna's scream doesn't sink the ship and the overall tune isn't too long. I dig the long jams but don't feel length is a prerequisite for a great version. They played this song about a million times, but so far in my long listening journey, this is the best I've come across. Toke up.
The Music Never Stopped
Feb. 3, 1978
Dane County Coliseum

Funky, intense, Donna rocks her bit - the best I've heard. DP 18 is the shizz.
Brown Eyed Women

Dane County Coliseum

reeeeally pops...lotta great versions, but this one takes it.
Dark Star

Fillmore East

A DS doesn't have to be 45 minutes to get it done. Floats gently out of one of the best played MotM, exploratory yet concise - perfect. This one needs more love.
