Bobby with that ropey rhythm while Phil is tightly tiptoeing for Jerry to deliver a slicing lead. Ooooof. Boys are hot tonight.

Loser
Nov. 14, 1972
Oklahoma City Music Hall
You’re right this one’s SPECIAL. Love Weir’s rhythm and filigree work here and Jerry carves a blistering solo for the ages then a BRUTAL CUT- separation on recording is beautiful for phones and requires heavy study of this whole show. Not sure how I’ve missed the depths of this show - Nov ‘72 is easily one of my all time favorite months in this band’s history.
Shakedown Street
March 30, 1987
The Spectrum
Once heard this Shake will demand your vote - SLAPPIN’ is right!
Cassidy
July 10, 1987
JFK Stadium
One of the best Cassidy jams no one’s heard- whole band catches the groove and Jerry goes on a bender and stretches this one ouuuuuuuuuut.
