Morning Dew
April 23, 1969
The Ark

Jer + SG x 1969 = wild flaming hot licks that lead to off kilter dissonant cronking into cleansing fanning before the car crash ending.

Encore that the whole band jumps on with Jerry crooning his way thru it nicely.

Devore Field

Burned out vox and crying guitar licks fit this tune perfectly

Dark Star
Sept. 10, 1974
Alexandra Palace

Just to be clear Billy the Kidd was an excellent jazz drummer.... Earl Klugh is also a nice and right reference Gman. I prefer the straight ahead 69-70 verisons of Dark Star myself but this caught my attention then it drifted during the short nap/space section after the aforementioned Klugh styled interlude. Overall a different and as noted previously nice mellow trip.
To Lay Me Down
Sept. 18, 1974
Parc des Expositions

Dreamy and in no hurry.... tres bien.
Cold Rain and Snow
Dec. 17, 1970
The Matrix

I went back and listened to 12/23/70 which I believe is also mislabeled as well (same version from what I can hear) so I took that down - whatever the correct date is, this is a shining version for this era and should be in consideration for a perch much higher on the list. Locked in Phil, crazy beats and cranky Jerry with perfect Bobby touches. The playing and mix are stellar.
Feel Like A Stranger
Dec. 2, 1981
Assembly Hall

Brent showcase - with Jer throwing Shakedown riffs and some Shaft jammy thing happening. Different and cool nice call.
Eyes Of The World
May 15, 1981
Rutgers Athletic Center

Like this one for 80's style...sounds as tho Jer is playing off a bit of the MNS riff.
