Fox Theater

Feelin Groovy.. Phil takes the controls from deep space and slowly, snowballing as the others join in,the jam develops leading into A.m.Dew..DS>Dew in a Playin sandwich.Nice.

Soldiers' and Sailors' Memorial Hall

Good call hkd, this version is a mile wide and the source is pure, they really had this song down-pat by 1977..That was twenty minutes well spent..Stunning outtro keeps building.Keiths on the money.
The Other One
May 10, 1972
Concertgebouw

Its even better than i thought,it drifts so far away from the Other one theme right into Dark Star territory:deep space, then Bobby Mcgee appears..Its like you just turned on the radio in the spaceships cockpit and Bobby Mcgee came on! Brilliant.
The Other One

Concertgebouw

Good call..Underrated E72 gem..This Other one takes you right into the cosmos:I like floating through a deep DS/O1 space when you suddenly realise"shit,we havnt got to the verse yet".This one did it so +1

I Havnt listened to this show in a while but theres a reason i keep coming back to this Dark Star-its the most gentle, jazzy and mellow DS i know of- absolute beauty..In a year of greats this one stands alone for me..The MLB that follows is just the icing on the cake.Bellissima.
