Both Keith and Donna shine here..Hell,the whole band sounds great..
He's Gone
May 6, 1980
Rec Hall, Penn State U
I went with the AUD which puts you right there- 80s AUDs can be top quality with better equipment than, say 60s or early 70s..Great guitar work by Jer on this one.The crowd clap along with the acapella bit and Brent and Jerry finish in fine style.
St. Stephen
Jan. 22, 1978
McArthur Court, U of Oregon
This version totally deserves all the hype on here, its easily best of the late 70s ,not counting early 70s versions..Gets my vote and glad to see it on top.
Black Peter
Dec. 21, 1978
The Summit
Good call- Jerry really digs deep vocally and solo-wise..Good sound for an AUD too..Builds to a nice peak towards the end.
Terrapin Station
Dec. 11, 1979
Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall
Brents electric piano adds a dreamy quality to this nice Terrapin-I usually dont care for the synth sound but its right on here.
