If you can get over the SQ issues, the musics hot!Very nice charging transition into Rider- typical of 1972 but with a little extra..Good AUD energy too.The band were absolutely untouchable in 72 and this shows why..
Uncle John's Band
Sept. 29, 1977
Paramount Theatre

Some very different percussion happening here,at times a little jarring. Two drummers sometimes sound a little chaotic,to me..Warms up nicely though into the jam segment and end coda.Solid vocals.
Knockin' On Heaven's Door
Dec. 31, 1987
Oakland Coliseum Arena

Brilliant Jerry vocals and solos here- Neville bros add a bit more soul to the mix,Brents great too, this show..Nice n tight NYE special..The Dead do Dylan so well.
Morning Dew
Dec. 31, 1972
Winterland Arena

Agreed,a lot of emotion and soul going on vocally- it must be difficult actually singing it like you MEAN IT,night after night but Garcia always delivers on songs like Dew or Wharf Rat..Crosbys 12string sounds like a sitar at times and adds texture.Very cool stuff...
