Black Peter
May 7, 1978
Field House - Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

This is the Daddy: Jerrys well into it vocally, nice Donna backup but the slightly uptempo gait means it isnt a buzzkill at all, this ones got soul :vocally AND solo-wise. +1
U.S. Blues (Wave That Flag)
May 7, 1978
Field House - Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

A raucous US Blues 78style- the AUD sounds great,Jerrys havin a blast and so is everyone else by the sound of things.have to revisit this show.
Bird Song
Sept. 10, 1972
Hollywood Palladium

A really solid Birdsong here, from 72-the best year for this song without doubt..Has the same ethereal quality as the Veneta reading..Another top shelf- primo, headstash version.Theyre like mini Darkstars-quality- whole band locked in melllow-jam nirvana.
Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad
Oct. 27, 1971
Onondaga War Memorial

Good call!-love it..Extended NFA+drums+ 71 style x-factor jam .Nice Bobby Chinacat riff too.Jerrys leads are pure joy and Kreutzmans enjoying being the only drummer with plenty splash-cymbals.Moments like this make 71 such an exciting year for the GD.
Jack Straw
Nov. 13, 1978
Music Hall

Wow,id love to have seen that-Jerrys lightning fast,i bet his fingers were just a blur.Amazing skills.
