Hot vocals from Bob. Very well played all around. A forgotten gem.

Ain't It Crazy (The Rub)
April 28, 1971
Fillmore East
Another very good version from 1971, however, nothing elevates it to the level of "Wow!!!!".
Ain't It Crazy (The Rub)
March 18, 1971
Fox Theatre
Pigpen is on with his vocals and harmonica work. Jerry puts in some nice guitar work and backup vocals. This version just has a really good boogie to it and I think it's a lot better than the acoustic version from 5-15-1970.
Ain't It Crazy (The Rub)
May 15, 1970
Fillmore East (Late Show)
This is a nice acoustic version, but it isn't better than the electric version from 3-18-1971.
Ballad of Casey Jones
Aug. 5, 1970
Golden Hall - San Diego Community Concourse
This is good, just not as good as 5-15-1970.
Ballad of Casey Jones
May 15, 1970
Fillmore East (Late Show)
This is the better version of the two, with stronger and more soulful vocals from Jerry.
