Tore Up Over You
May 22, 1975
Keystone
Here we get two solos from Jerry, Merl Saunders and Martin Fierro. Jerry jumps back in control to finish things off. Worth a listen, that be for sure.

I know there's people that don't like Legion of Mary, but anybody that loves Jerry Garcia will love this version. Jerry's vocals are strong and passionate. His guitar work is spectacular. There's a misconception out there that LOM was Jerry Garcia and some guys backing him up. This version shows that they were a cohesive unit, working together as a team. Even with the slowed down tempo, there's this fountain of energy that keeps erupting to the end. Trust me - even if you don't like LOM, you will love this version.
Mexicali Blues
March 13, 1985
Berkeley Community Theatre
The instrumental break is hot. Jerry carries the load all by himself and shines.
Mexicali Blues
Dec. 8, 1973
Cameron Indoor Stadium, Duke U
Tight playing from Jerry and Keith. Keith's pacing is so good. He doesn't miss a beat, timing his playing to reach its peak at the exact moment the song takes one of its turns.
