Samba In The Rain
July 9, 1995
Soldier Field

I really like the intro and the different sounds from the midi trumpet. The vocals are stronger and more understandable than usual.
Samba In The Rain
Oct. 11, 1994
USAir Arena

The use of midi trumpet for the intro is questionable. What isn't questionable is the fact that the drummers really don't care and it shows. There are some versions where they're really into it. Not this one.

Totally overrated. Most of it is pointless masturbatorial wanderings into a field of nothingness. It takes it until about 30 minutes in that it starts to get good. It lacks focus, direction and purpose. Its unbearable length only makes matters worse. 30 minutes of punishment only to be rewarded by some cacophonic nonsense, only to be back on the pointless jam trail. I seriously doubt I will ever listen to this again

Jerry is a little hesitant on guitar.
Here Comes Sunshine

Curtis Hixon Convention Hall

This one cooks. Just when you think they're wrapping things up, they go off into another jam. Sweet!!!
