I think '71-'72 was probably the peak for this song...

Typically great '72 version, falling between a great "Tomorrow Is Forever" and an epic DS

Nice, brief one towards the end of a great DS

Another excellent '72 version. Seems like this show is one of the most under-the-radar great '72 shows...

Turn On Your Love Light
Feb. 28, 1969
Fillmore West

Jerry is on FIRE on this one, and the others are right there with him stride for stride. Some seriously hot soloing.
Good Morning Little Schoolgirl

Fillmore West

Great solos by Pig and Jerry as others have said. Jerry's is so authoritative! Bob is doing some really neat stuff too btw...
Morning Dew
Feb. 28, 1969
Fillmore West

What a powerful opener. I used to find it too fast, but now I love it. Jerry's vocals are so emotive during the softer parts.

Bob's falsetto on "come one PLEAAAAAAASE" during the "shine on me" coda is awesome! Great version.
The Eleven
Feb. 27, 1969
Fillmore West

I'm guessing it was vinyl length restrictions that put the Eleven > Love Light from the 26th on Live/Dead instead of the 27th versions? Because the 27th versions sound far better to me.
