Not Fade Away

Billy is pretty aggressive, as he is this whole show, and Jerry's soloing is hot...

Sugar Magnolia

Flowing straight out of a fantastic 'Half-Step,' this is a goon one. It's between '71 and '72 for the best year for 'Sugar Mags' IMO...

Beat it on Down The Line

Jerry's solo has a bit of a '73 feel on this one...that liquid, mellow intensity.

Tight, well-sung and really buzzing with energy. Keith has some great flourishes.

Hilarious intro as Bob and Jerry come in out of time with Phil. Hot one once they get going -- especially Billy, who's really 'on' at this show...

China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider

Very nice one indeed. This whole show is overlooked! I think it's the best of the three between Rotterdam and the Lyceum run by a significant margin, which isn't to say that Lille and Luxembourg aren't also very good...

A tad slower than the other E72 versions, which lends it a nice, mellow vibe. Pig fills this one out nicely.

Perhaps being in that neck of the woods contributed to this one being extra sweet...
Looks Like Rain

What Jerry is playing starting around the 6:30 mark sounds like rain drops falling...gorgeous version from an all-time great show.
They Love Each Other

TLEO ranks in my top 20 favourite Dead tunes...I usually prefer the fast '73 versions, but I love this slower one! Best night of '77
