Sugaree

Pauley Pavilion

The band is tight and Jerry doesn't miss a beat. Seems like he's surfing with his guitar lines.

China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Dec. 2, 1981
Assembly Hall

I think Jerry's working ideas out in new places in the fretboard during the "China" solo, and Brent is contributing some interesting colors.

Nice slow shuffle, and Jerry's playing is quite melodic. But he brings the heat at the end (with some help from Keith).

Some nice playing from Jerry in the solos and transition.

Dark Star
Nov. 15, 1971
The Austin Municipal Auditorium

This works so well. The Dark Star expands to space, and Bobby's strumming emerges. At the end of the song, we re-enter the same space we left like nothing ever happened, like El Paso was a dream.
And We Bid You Goodnight

Cow Palace

Really lovely arrangement with the whole band. Great version!

Very good version. The recording quality lets you hear all kinds of nuances between the band.

Good playing. I've never personally cared for the slower versions.
Help On The Way > Slipknot > Franklin's Tower
Dec. 31, 1976
Cow Palace

Gets an upvote for how good Jerry's vocals sound on "Help" alone. "Slipknot" is quite out there and the good recording quality lets you hear all the little nuances as the band interacts.
