Deal

Ender to a very good first set. Jerry in fine form vocally, and he and Marsalis and musical in their sparseness.

Dark and moody version. Phil. The full ensemble drop into the minor for the solo break.

China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
June 16, 1974
Iowa State Fairgrounds

This China Cat should be listed separately, it's that good. Also have to disagree pretty vehemently about 6/18. Obviously biased, and I'll give them both an honest re-listen again, but this show has lots of slower moments, and not nearly the peaks that 6/18 has, imho.

(see especially "Bertha" (despite the devastating bass cut), "Scarlet," "Roses." There's a reason parts of this show were released officially.

Eyes Of The World
Feb. 15, 1973
Dane County Coliseum

If the transition into this doesn't get you out of your seat and moving, you might be in trouble.
