Very intense version in a bluesy second set.

LOL, no. Just stop. 4/4/85 is an OK version, probably great for 85, but there is absolutely nothing better about that one than this version. What does it for you? The mumbly vocals? Forgotten lyrics? Coked up tempo? The jam is good, but doesn't have anywhere near the peaks this one has.
Lost Sailor -> Saint of Circumstance

Every couple years, I pull this show out and listen, and I have to comment on this. This is (arguably, as always with the Dead, LOL) the best version of any song played in the Brent era. 20+ minutes of psychedelic fire.

Is Victim maligned? I love that song (although I'm partial to the Alpine 89 version - Victim>West LA>Desolation>Deal, all by far the best versions of those songs...). Picasso Moon or Easy Answers maybe, but Victim should get the love.
Good Lovin'

Brent takes a verse at the Dark Star resurrection show in Hampton in the fall, but it's kind of a train wreck.

It was always a weird thing to me that this 30 second tease has always been recognized as a separate song/track, but the much longer snippet of Same Thing in Good Lovin' is not. The setlist for this show should be either GL>Caution>GL (with notes for teases of Same Thing and WDYL?) or GL>Same Thing>GL>Caution>WDYL?>Caution>GL, but not GL>Caution>WDYL>Caution>GL.
