Whoa, I can't believe this hasn't been submitted. Great vocal and four minutes of sublime outro solo. Check it out!

Phil is high in the mix. One of the best '71 versions, I believe.

China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Feb. 15, 1973
Dane County Coliseum
I'm speechless. Masterful soloing by JG. The others are no slouches either. At the 7:45 mark, Jerry cranks it up to 11 and performs a blistering run for about 40 seconds. You can hear the crowd going nuts after it. This version is unbelievably underrated. And as Carrion Crow notes, that interplay between Phil and Jerry is money.

The sunshine daydream section is a hot mess -- atrocious vocals that mar an otherwise average SM. I terminate disc 2 listening after US Blues.

Good version, despite the usual Donna wails. This was thought to be a good idea? Pleaee let me respectfully disagree. They take this at warp speed; I think Billy got tired.

The sound on this show finally gets dialed in on Deal. This JS is as good as many from 1974 are. Too bad this show is neglected. Never released, unlike a lot of the May shows. Followed by a hyperactive Scarlet. I've complained before about the lack of a separate CD release of 5/19. No, I don't want LPs -- interrupts the flow.
Nobody's Fault But Mine

Whoa. Now this is straight blues and if only Pig had been around to do the vocals. As is, this is tasty. I wish they gotten more into the blues in 74, because they were almost faultless that year.
