Whoa, I can't believe this hasn't been submitted. Great vocal and four minutes of sublime outro solo. Check it out!

Phil is high in the mix. One of the best '71 versions, I believe.

Another fine 71 effort with very good sound and Phil high in the mix

St. Stephen
June 9, 1976
Boston Music Hall

Sounds like the Rhodes here. The rhythm section here rules the direction this goes in. A unique take on St. Stephen that I would venture a guess is nothing like other versions from this time frame. It gets a bit noodly at times, like just before they return the song per se. Deserves a fairly high rating for its novel approach.
Not Fade Away

Winterland Arena

Keith did some very good shit at the beginning, too.
Uncle John's Band
Dec. 26, 1969
McFarlin Auditorium, SMU

Sort of a proto-UJB. You can hear how they're feeling their way through this one. Vocally interesting with good separation of the voices.
Sugar Magnolia
July 16, 1976
Orpheum Theatre

You know, I tend to encounter a Sugar Magnolia that I haven't heard with some trepidation. Will the number of times that "Sunshine Daydream" is sung wear out its welcome? Will Bob go a little too nuts? But I always listen for one that catches my fancy. And boy, does this one. This is really good.
High Time

Beacon Theatre

extremely emotional vocal by Jerry. and what everyone else is saying about this one.
