Whoa, I can't believe this hasn't been submitted. Great vocal and four minutes of sublime outro solo. Check it out!

Phil is high in the mix. One of the best '71 versions, I believe.

what honestdenver said. not one of my favorite songs, but in the context of listening to the entire show, this is a credible rendition.

As ProfessorJ notes, the entire band shines on this one. Perhaps the best of 76.

Although it's not bad, I listened to this together with 6/9 for 76 and think it in every respect better. Especially how it changes in the last three minutes. Also, the vocals are better, I like JG's sound better, and there's a lot of interesting Phil. Not sure what folks like in this one...

I see that grendel ruffled some feathers by expressing his/her strong feeling about this show and this PITB in particular. Let's remember that grendel isn't criticizing anyone for liking this one, although grendel's wrong to warn people off listening to it. Now, this sort of post can get folks in a headspace that is not healthy and they respond with what sounds like personal insults. That's not what this forum should be about. At least, that's like my opinion, man. This version does get pretty dissonant, which is not exactly my thing, by the way. YMMV.
