Whoa, I can't believe this hasn't been submitted. Great vocal and four minutes of sublime outro solo. Check it out!

Phil is high in the mix. One of the best '71 versions, I believe.

If you don't have Pigpen in there, there's always this one. My pick for best since his raps. Is this the best show of 77? Many think so. But I don't, because Keith is really having an off night. Both his sound and performance are substandard.
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
March 26, 1973
Baltimore Civic Center

First thing in the first set that gets my attention. Solid version that stays within the bounds of its structure for the era, but almost meticulous in its execution. If you had never heard them do this before, you'd probably find it pretty satisfying. Nicely executed when Jerry steps back, Bob does his solo, then Phil signals the FG section. Not sloppy.

Nice to see this one gaining more votes. Now in the top 20 as of this writing. I was informed that at about the 22 minute mark, you hear a very Cosmic Charlie-like bit.

Not super-early, actually. They started doing the pair on 9/30/69. The jam into Rider is relatively brief. Interesting how it evolved.
