Takes you right to Chicago. Jerry’s playing emulates the blues greats. Hard rocking version that reminds me of a Junior Wells cut. Highly recommend.

My favorite of the tour. Jerry’s solo before the jam reminds me of the Devil playing his Trill Sonata. The jam begins and dissolves into a lysergic mist that takes you deep into the earths core and explores ancient and magical places. Feels Egyptian at times as well, like they’re spelling hieroglyphics through music. Gets deeps fast as they explore the underworld. Phenomenally jammed out and one of the most unique jams they’ve ever done. One of my favorite Truckin’s.
Caution

At one point I forget I’m listening to Caution and thought I was listening to Dark Star. I adore 4/17, but this one has a power and an infectious energy you just can’t turn down. Jerry is right on the beat, but one step ahead. He’s a well of ideas that just spring forth for the band to latch onto. Shifts melodically yet is able to meld together different themes so seamlessly. Powerful and rises, rises and rises. Takes you to the top of the mountain and will leave you falling down an avalanche.
The Other One

This one shoots you right into space from the very beginning. A journey through hyperspace and celestial landscapes. Jerry subtly leads, and the organ sounds are incredible, very much like sirens. Phil makes the earth shake, and the band fades into a psychedelic mist. This tour will never get old. A version lost in time. Drifts without wondering too far, you really hear why this band is really in the transportation business. Also a brutal, brutal meltdown is in this one. Gets scary and dark fast.

Truckin'

Radioactive and alchemical Truckin jam that’ll leave your mind melted. Not a caution jam but definitely take caution with this one, will turn your brain into a puddle with your DNA completely vaporized as well Surpised this doesn’t have that many votes, Truckin jams are some of the deepest and darkest jams one can find themselves in. A lysergic train ride that takes you to the center of the atom, which ends up splitting on impact:
