Very powerful vocals from Bobby! SOLID!!!! then it gets nice and spacey/experimental before dissolving into a fairly energetic latter-years Eyes

Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain

Jerry's intro in this version of Fire gives me goosebumps every time. Sure, his solo after the first verse is amazing, but take another listen at the intro. Right from the moment he opens up with the MuTron, and for the next 40 seconds, we have a pristine example of exactly how very good he was at lyrical improvisation on his guitar. I wouldn't even mind saying (think of the circumstances - third Fire ever, auto-wah basically brand new sound) that out of all I have ever heard him play, that his first run of notes in the beginning of this Fire is my favorite run I have EVER heard him play...

Best Franklin's ever. VERY bouncy/shuffly. The first solo break at 2:35 is pure bliss. Then check out the repeating theme Jerry creates beginning at 10:18 which culminates at 10:53 to open the floodgates to the rest of the song.
