Clarence Clemons sits in for the whole show and really is a great addition. They rock this Let It Rock better than anywhere else I have heard anywhere

This show is an absolute monster. It is indelibly etched in my brain ever since an early 80's hitchhiking trip up the CA coast. It got dark when I was between towns somewhere north of LA. I ended up bedding down on a hillside overlooking the pacific on a moonlit night, not enough dough to go to a bar, just hanging out in the middle of I did not know where, and I had a tape I had recently copied of this show and I had a Walkman and I listened to this show and I heard every note down to the depths of my soul while I watched the waves in the midnight moonlight. That was some cosmic shit. The Help-Slip-Frank, needless to say given all the very astute comments above, is mindblowing.

I have to agree on this one. It is listed first in John Dwork's Taper's Compendium and it has it all including that raw east coast energy from 1985. The fat man rocks.
