The rest of this doesn't live up to it, BUT--Jerry's first solo here is THE moment this song breaks out and starts to become the monster it is for the next 2 years. There are some really good 1972-ers (like 9-26 and 10-9) but Garcia gets ALL THE WAY THERE on his first solo.
You Ain't Woman Enough To Take My Man

I like it. Donna sings it really well, not too slick but just gritty enough to do Loretta proud. Band isn't super tight but they pull it off, and Jerry plays a nice solo. Approved! EDIT: I agree with every word Carrion Crow says, especially about the sexism, but I admit the hardcore wrongness of Bman's post made me laugh too...

The first version at Roscoe P Coltrane Jerry comes in wrong-footed on the vocals, they recover pretty quickly and it's a good version, but this, the second time played, is pretty well perfect. Excellent! Approved.

This got more spacey and ruminative the second the calendar flipped into 1973...it's going great places, this is excellent but not quite up with most of the last 10 or so of 1972...
