The way it was meant to be played.

Definitely top 5 version. Longer than most. 68 Shrine is still the gold standard, tho.

Walking Blues
Sept. 18, 1987
Madison Square Garden
This ok tune is played as well as it can be at this hot show. Decent sound effects for Bob's voice, too.

Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
July 3, 1978
St. Paul Civic Center Arena
This starts off one of the most enjoyable 2nd sets that I listen too. None of it is best ever, but every tune is so solid and song selection is perfect... repeat Disc 2 in my car all the time.
Bertha
May 17, 1977
Memorial Coliseum
Best version if not for 12/19/77.
Dark Star
Sept. 10, 1972
Hollywood Palladium
There really are some sweet melodic DS theme moments in this one. How something like this sits with so few votes, baffles me.
Bertha
May 9, 1977
War Memorial
See 12/29/77 for the best.
Friend of the Devil
April 11, 1978
Fox Theatre
Honest... one of the sweetest versions ever played.
