Damn near perfection. A terrific take Jerry on backing vocals is perfect and bobby is so right on, totally in the pocket on this version.

And We Bid You Goodnight

Greek Theater

Very warm and friendly version, Jerry adds some of the extra lines that are often mumbled, forgotten, or left of all together.
Victim Or The Crime
Aug. 18, 1989
Greek Theater

Raunchy lke a good victim fll of fat Jerry guitar and a lot of Brent. The drummers drive this beast as usual and they are pounding it out with passion. Very nice version for those that are fans of the drummers they are the stars here. After the gong blast Brent and jerry get pretty trippy nice and crazy especially for 2/3 of the way thru set one. The following Bird Song that rises from the ashes of the ending meltdown is also majestic and jammed out well, with lots of Brent and Jerry.
Playin' In The Band
Aug. 27, 1972
Old Renaissance Faire Grounds

For me this show as a whole but in particular this playin and the later Dark Star take me to places I really can't describe. It is just magical is about the best thing I can say it just is so deep and just there it is beautiful and indescribable. The writeup from was it Dpree's? i dont remember but i think it was reshared in the compendium, that does the best job of describing this show one could but it is near impossible. Jst go download the Cd's or whatever its called these days from itunes if you don't have it. it is worth it for the great quality.
Playin' In The Band

RFK Stadium

This is a rather intense latter day run through Jerry Phill Bobby and Vince are meshing beautifully in a spacey madness on this playing the accordion adds just the right flavor to the madcap proceedings , very cool, they get nice and out there on this version. Phil is really into the jam and prominent nice meltdown into Terrapin Station which is also very heady, a wonderful 30+ minutes of music on this evening.
Days Between
Oct. 2, 1994
Boston Garden

This one is rather powerful, a few minor vocal hiccups but he brings the shear power and emotion that makes a great Days, and his playing on this one is beautiful, heavy, powerful, and fantastic, tremendously played among the best musically. If he had nailed the lyrics it would be the best as it is its a rather powerful version.
