Real standout, Brent is great on this version and Jerry has a delicate twinge to his voice.

Aiko Aiko
May 27, 1989
Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Stadium

Fun celebratory Aiko from a real fun crazy 1989 show. Love how in 1989 Aiko could show up pretty much anywhere at anytime. Mid set 1 here

Let It Grow
April 26, 1983
The Spectrum

This one is really fast played at an amazing pace another for the Jerry can't play fast crowd to hear. Jerry is just bubbling notes out faster than can be believed Brent kicks in a little funky keyboard sound, and bobby just spitting the lyrics as fast as he can, a little latin tinged punk rock Grateful Dead style. With a crazy sick jam before the last lyrics, Crazy Sick and FAST. Lots of bombs this is just great stuff, awesome early 80's Grateful Dead at their peak.
Wharf Rat

University of New Mexico

I am with those that believe this should be number one beautiful. 2-18-1971 is simply not better than this one. The beautiful jam should not effect the wharf rat voting in my opinion, but it does.
Wharf Rat
Oct. 14, 1976
Shrine Auditorium

Truly heady if listened to as the Dancin->Wharf Rat->Dancin sandwich, it is just such a delectable tasty juxtaposition that only the GratefulDead could pull off with such deft and precision, FABULOUS. Love the way he delivers the "my name is August West" line on this version. Bobby is terrific as is Keith on this version, and Jerry is sublime. ANd Donna sounds beautiful and restrained on the backing vocals. Keith is just on for this version very nice. The exit Wharf Rat Jam is so nice and just drops smoothly back into Dancin.
Dancin' in the Streets
Oct. 14, 1976
Shrine Auditorium

This is incredibly funky and very heady, just nominated the Wharf rat meat from this tasty sandwich. This is a stellar show love me some 1976 the funk sound added to the dead mix is just so delectable. Love this stuff just can not get enough of it. God bless the Grateful Dead!
Franklin's Tower
Oct. 15, 1976
Shrine Auditorium

Part of a hot the other one->Comes a time->Franklin's tower sequence. Very heady stuff the post space this evening is world class. From the infamous "This is not a pot smoking sanctuary shows in LA" Tons of pot smoking busts even during the show on this evening.
