It Must Have Been The Roses

Real standout, Brent is great on this version and Jerry has a delicate twinge to his voice.

Aiko Aiko
May 27, 1989
Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Stadium

Fun celebratory Aiko from a real fun crazy 1989 show. Love how in 1989 Aiko could show up pretty much anywhere at anytime. Mid set 1 here

Rager to open set two flows nicely into a hot wicked Fire on the Mountain.

Franklin's Tower
May 30, 1980
Milwaukee Auditorium

The ending is super hot as the jam gets pretty fasyt and Jerry is just busting out notes left and right, the rest are keeping up admirably, Phil and brent mesh nicely with Jerry during the ending Jam. Wow this sis a truly great Franklin's with out the help of its kindred partners.
Sugaree
May 14, 1980
Nassau Coliseum

Loads of Brent on the breaks Jerry is enjoying the heck out of it, bobby pinging notes in the background Jerry shinning when he delivers his guitar parts. Brent dominates this version with some fantastic synth work.
Feel Like A Stranger

Nassau Coliseum

This is a hot funky jam, Real killer stranger to open set 2
Eyes Of The World
Oct. 20, 1974
Winterland Arena

Not asgood as the night before but was one of my favorites back in the days of tapes, has since been eclipsed by the June triumvirate from the 16th,18th,and 20th 1974
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Oct. 20, 1974
Winterland Arena

The transition on this is silly, wow it is amazing long and drawn out in a beautiful grateful dead way. When they finally land in Rider it is simply fantastic. Bubbling guitar work from jerry. Whole band is really on fire throughout the transition and realy the whole pairing.
