So Many Roads
Oct. 19, 1994
Madison Square Garden

Big tear jerker hear, a little sloppy on the verses but he really revs up the power and emotion for the Ease my souls just crooning beautifully and filled with that raw emotion you can only get from Jerry's voice. Not the best but heady nonetheless. Heady to me does not equal the best, but an excellent version that you would revisit again and thoroughly enjoyed. Need not be perfect or the best but does need that extra little something, some can bitch and complain thats cool doesn't effect my life i assure you of that.
That Would Be Something

Always found this to be an enjoyable treat as i am a real big Paul McCartney fan, had a cat that recently passed named McCartney. Jerry delivers this one very well, like the positioning between Truckin and a killer He's Gone
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Dec. 9, 1994
Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Stadium

Turn this one up loud, over 30 minutes in length, The Scarlet is hot and very intense, Nice rocking pace, all players very clear on the SNBD on archive, One of the versions where there is alot going on in the background, Jerry scrambles a ouple lyrics but is singing with clarity and passion, ince is great on the backing vocals here. Real sweet jams after the verses lead into a nice intricate transition jam, Phil drops some nice bombs during this segment, a third percussionist, Sikiru Adepoju joins the boys and the fire gets real rhythmically driven and intense. The drummers are actually steering the jamming at some points with the rest just laying back and supporting them, very cool version. For those that love a lot of drums, like my brother.
Days Between

This one is an absolute beast, the building of the emotions throughout the song until their release at the end is simply breathtaking. This is as emotional a version as i have ever heard, one of my personal favorites. This amzing moment leaves one emotionally spent perfect timing by bobby to introduce a bouncy good time sugar mags.
Mountain Jam
Feb. 7, 1969
Stanley Theater

Mountain Jam definitely sounds like a coping of the dead's alligator at various times. There is no doubt about it. Greg Allman can dis the boys ll he wants their ignature tune is pretty much a rip off of the dead so he can say whatever he wants the facts show a different story.
