Around and Around
May 3, 1977
The Palladium

In most ways typical of era but I wanted to note it for how fine Donna's voice is throughout this one.

C. C. Rider

Downs of Santa Fe

Nice pacing with good energy. Playing is good with exception of Bobby's slide solo, which falls into that period of out of tune passion.

Madison Square Garden

Nice energetic version with proper pacing and sharp playing.

Man Smart, Woman Smarter

This is a really smoking version. The playing is great with high intensity and energy.

The Palladium

Nice transition from the drums. Good energy and firm attitude towards the song. Crowd enjoying it very much. Nice fading at the end.

Fillmore East

I realize I'm stealing from other's here, but smooth, silky and not rushed sums it up nicely.
Dancin' in the Streets

Fillmore East

good jamming whenever Jerry is up front.
The Other One
Jan. 3, 1970
Fillmore East

Has all the makings of the versions that would appear later this year. Not at that caliber but working towards it. Worthy version.
Morning Dew

Robertson Gym, UC Santa Barbara

Listen to it. You won't be disappointed.
Dancin' in the Streets
Feb. 26, 1977
Swing Auditorium

What's not to like here. Wonderful transition from Eyes. Donna sings her little heart out. Jerry with his wah-wah sound and just a clear sense the band is having fun. A perfect example of why we love this band.
