Equal parts journey and freakout

Seems truly bizarre to see Dancin>Wharf>Franklin's in a setlist, but it works really well. After the Dancin suddenly disintegrates, you're treated some of the most passionate Keith playing I can think of offhand. This is one of the most emotional Wharf Rats I can think of! It finishes off with a nice turn into a relatively sedate Franklin's.

This NFA comes in way more aggressively after Space than it usually does, but then they ease up and deliver a funky, smooth jam leading into the first verse. A unique moment from a great show.

This is a superb early 80s PITB that occasionally gives off a '76 vibe, I think mostly because of Brent's growlier-than-usual Rhodes tone which sounds very Keith-like. This one feels criminally overlooked, I'm sure because the monster 12/31 show gets so much (deserved) attention

Really have to concur with everyone above: why ISN'T this one rated a lot higher? This jams in a much different way than the other longer NFAs I've heard. It reminds me a lot of those '73 Truckin's in the sense that it's crazy exploratory but never loses its rocking edge. Also has a little Allman-like tinge to it in the MLB section, in my opinion. A true monster.

Wow, Disco Dead at their finest. It's not the fastest of its time period, but it still shuffles along briskly. Lots of beautiful piano breaks from Keith, and some really ringing solos from Jerry. The highlight of this somewhat overrated show, as far as I am concerned.
