Easy Wind
March 21, 1970
Capitol Theater

Exceptional jamming with a great solo from Weir. Jerry and Bob feed off each other the whole time. Unfortunately, tape cut ends it abruptly.

Miracle>>Shakedown. Mind-blowing smooth transition. Energized version, but really this one sticks out for the transition.

Great version, from an unheralded show.

A shifted gear in the set sends this one up a notch, punchy and powerful emotive soloing.

New Minglewood Blues
Sept. 2, 1980
Community War Memorial Auditorium

Hard and fast way to start a show, and let the crowd know they are in for a thrill ride. Lace up your shoes this shows going be a rocker.
Let It Grow
Oct. 11, 1977
Lloyd Noble Center - University of Oklahoma

Lesh drops some thunder and you have Garcia with some lighting quick leads, an all together cohesive and coherent jamming section for all members. The drummers play with the pace effectively. A great example of what they could do in terms of jamming when they were all on the same page. This is maybe my favorite version of the year
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Oct. 18, 1989
The Spectrum

Wicked ryder, Jerry hits every note, and just shreds.
Candyman
Dec. 15, 1986
Oakland Coliseum Arena

This is fucking awesome, love it!! The crowd is nuts, great stuff.
Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo
March 18, 1977
Winterland Arena

Hard to get better this, without the flubs this version is higher on the list.
