Kresge Plaza - MIT

The jam during this blows me away every time. Pure psychedelic bliss. An argument could easily be made that this is the definitive version.

Easy Wind

Manhattan Center

Powerful and driving blues jam, with a unique ending. Garcia tears this one up, and Lesh provides a great hollow bass sound.

Nobody's Fault But Mine

U.C.

Off the rails, intense blues jamming.

Eyes Of The World

Orlando Arena

Relaxed, controlled, and tight. Garcia owns this one.

New Minglewood Blues
May 19, 1966
Avalon Ballroom

Insane early version. Weir goes off on the vocals, and there is some energetic old time Dead jamming.

Morning Dew

Berkeley Community Theatre

Wicked dark star<dew, no question this is one of the best versions of the year. The range of sound is incredible They play as soft and as loud as they can and balance the song perfectly providing an absolutely perfect final crescendo.
Sugaree

Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Stadium

Polished and ripping version from a great dicks pick.
Wharf Rat
May 19, 1974
Portland Memorial Coliseum

IMHO the song can't get much better then how they played it on this night. Whole show presents the band in top form and this rat is right up there with the truckin' as the highlights from the performance.
