Beat it on Down The Line
Oct. 3, 1994
Boston Garden

"Beat It" beat it after this one. Abrupt, sloppy lead-in but the song itself is tight and enthusiastic.

Hell in a Bucket

Shoreline Amphitheatre

I was shocked not to see this one from the famous PPV solstice broadcast.

Bertha

Phil's all over this one. Really urgent upbeat version.

Hell in a Bucket
Sept. 8, 1990
Coliseum

Great opener for Vince's second show. Jerry's solos are rippin' and Bob's possessed. Nice subtle work from Vinny.

Jack Straw

Springfield Civic Center

Surprised this ain't here. Lyrically perfect (another Clive ad lib from Bobby) and Jerry kills the transition jam.

The Wheel
July 19, 1989
Alpine Valley Music Theatre

Bit weird that this was the only song they repeated during this stand.
Dark Star
April 1, 1991
Greensboro Coliseum

This version should be waaaaaay higher. The band is locked in, and it goes through just about every mood and color you'd expect out of "Dark Star" jams. Such a complete version. Can hang with 1968-74.
Feel Like A Stranger
Oct. 12, 1984
Augusta Civic Center

Best version I've heard. Listening now as work quiets down.
Drums -> Space
Oct. 27, 1991
Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum

Mickey attacks the beam during this sequence, exceptionally violent stuff. One of the most memorable performances of this combo.
Dark Star
March 20, 1992
Copps Coliseum

The last great one indeed. This whole show is excellent. I really like how Bruce carried the 1991-92 "Dark Star"'s. 1991/09/26 is another great one where he steals the show.
