Tight reading of this classic.

Very hot version. Gets bogged down in too many bop-bops, but the mid-jam is fiery at this great 1993 show.

Another great 1991 version. On the new 30 Days of Dead for 2019 along with a smoking "Deal."

In no way does this compare to the Mount Rushmore version on 3/27/94, but a solid take with a very good finale.

Coming out of Bob's "Bob Star" rap. Not the leanest, meanest, longest or most jammed out version, but good in its own way and Jerry does some work.

Bobby sings this one like a serial killer taunting a bound and gagged vixen. Pure carnally motivated evil blues swagger here. None better.

There may well be Pigpen led "GL"'s that are 'better,' per say. In fact, therecertainly are when it comes to many variants. However, the "La Bamba" interpolation gives this version a momentum few others have - especially Bobby ones. The band is obviously chomping at the bit to drop the bomb that is Jerry suddenly belting out "La Bamba," with fury to boot, and it pushes this version into legendary territory. Is it the fifth best ever in terms of technicality and other variables? Probably not, but I challenge anyone to name one below it that delivers in terms of pure excitement. It's my go-to "Good Lovin," and if that it's a felony, throw me in the jailhouse till the sun goes down.

I'm so glad this great show is getting some love these days. The Top 3 shows of 1994 all took place within less than two weeks of each other (10/1, 10/5, 10/14).
