My favorite version from one of the best Dead shows I've ever heard. Jerry's on fire and the drummers are dynamite. Best one I've heard.

What was with the Steely Dan ripoffs (this, Way to Go Home, Samba in the Rain)?

"Scarlet" is a throwaway. On "Fire," you can tell Jerry is lucid, but in a 'I'm trying my damndest to find the X factor' way, without ever actually reaching it. The drummers carry this one.
